Movie Plot/Summary
In Saaho Movie, Narantak Roy is the powerful leader of Roy Group, a global conglomerate and the largest crime syndicate in the world, which controls Waaji City, a sprawling, fictional metropolis. While on a business trip to Mumbai, Roy is deliberately killed in a staged car accident. Devaraj, the son of Roy’s close friend, mentor, and former syndicate head Pruthviraj, plans to seize control of Waaji City and declare himself its new leader. However, Ibrahim, Roy’s most trusted secretary, confides in Kalki, Roy Group’s legal advisor, revealing a shocking truth: Roy’s family had been dead for decades, and Roy had secretly kept his son, Vishwank Roy, hidden for 25 years. Vishwank now takes up his father’s mantle as the leader of Waaji City and embarks on a mission to uncover the masterminds behind Roy’s assassination.
In Mumbai, a master thief pulls off a heist worth ₹2,000 crore (US$284 million) by manipulating random, unrelated individuals into unknowingly helping him steal the money. As the case gains national attention, the police launch a manhunt and assign Ashok Chakravarthy, an undercover cop, to crack it. after appointed in saaho movie, Ashok leads the investigation with the support of Crime Branch officers Amritha Nair, Goswami, and David. Their search leads them to Jai, a suspect Ashok meets at a bar. During their encounter, Ashok reveals the existence of a black box, which holds the key to a vault in Waaji City containing ₹2,000 billion (US$28.4 billion) of assets belonging to the board members of the Roy Group. On orders from Vishwank, Kalki travels to Mumbai, retrieves the black box, and safely deposits it in a bank.
After a high-stakes pursuit to catch Jai in the act of stealing the box, Amritha, Ashok, and David—the team’s cyber-intelligence officer—finally confront him. To their shock, Jai reveals that he is the real Ashok Chakravarthy, the true lead officer. The man they thought was Ashok all along is actually the master thief Saaho. Saaho manages to escape with his partner, David, who had helped him maintain his disguise during the operation.
It’s then uncovered that Devaraj was responsible for killing Roy to seize control of the city. Meanwhile, Amritha, working as a double agent, begins tracking Saaho. She pretends to be romantically interested in him, demanding a share of the stolen money. However, as she gets closer to Saaho, Amritha finds herself genuinely falling in love with him and ultimately betrays Ashok.
