Movie Plot/Summary
The story is set in Rathodi village, a place haunted by Kakuda, a mischievous dwarf ghost. Each home in the village has two doors: a regular-sized one and a small one. Every Tuesday at 7:15 pm, Kakuda arrives in the village. If he finds the small door closed, he forces his way inside, kicks the man living there who was supposed to open it, and that man grows a hump, eventually dying 13 days later.
Sunny (Saqib Saleem), a young man from Rathodi, is deeply in love with Indira (Sonakshi Sinha), who lives in a neighboring village. However, her father disapproves of Sunny because he cannot speak English. Despite this, Sunny and Indira decide to run away and get married. Before their planned escape, Sunny’s friend advises him that their chosen day is a Tuesday and that he must make sure the small door is open by 7:15 pm, or he will face the wrath of Kakuda, who will kick him out.
After their marriage, Sunny fails to return on time and is reprimanded by Kakuda. Indira insists on taking him to Delhi to see a doctor about his hump, but the villagers, including Sunny’s father, refuse, claiming it is a curse with no cure. Undeterred and skeptical of superstitions, Indira, who doesn’t believe in ghosts, takes him to the doctor anyway. Though the hump is temporarily fixed, it reappears the next day. At the hospital, a watchman hands Indira a card for a ghost hunter named Victor (Ritesh Deshmukh), prompting her to seek his assistance.
