Movie Plot/Summary
Years after the horrific massacre at Fairlake, two college students, Rich Stoker and Halley Smith, embark on a rock climbing adventure in a secluded forest in West Virginia. As Rich reaches the summit of the cliff, he is unexpectedly killed before he can assist Halley. Suddenly, someone begins pulling Halley up the cliff, and in a desperate move, she cuts the rope, plummeting to the ground. As she tries to flee, she becomes entangled in a barbed wire line, getting dragged back into the woods, her screams echoing through the trees.
Later, medical student Chris Flynn is driving through the mountains of West Virginia en route to a business meeting. He pulls into a gas station to ask for directions, but the elderly owner, Maynard, is unhelpful. Chris finds a map and decides to take Bear Mountain Road. However, he soon crashes into a parked car with punctured tires. The car belongs to a group of college students—Jessie, Carly, Scott, Evan, and Francine—who are on a camping trip. Upon investigating, they realize the tire damage was no accident, discovering barbed wire wrapped around the tires, which suggests someone intentionally sabotaged them.
