Movie Plot/Summary
After the events of the first Stree Movie, in Streee 2 Movie, Stree departs from Chanderi after seeing her own statue. Years later, the town faces a new menace in the form of Sarkata, a headless ghost who abducts women at night. The townspeople, oblivious to the truth, wrongly assume that the missing women have simply left in search of better opportunities. Meanwhile, Rudra receives an anonymous letter containing missing pages from the Chanderi Puran, with a chilling message: “Vo Aayega” (He will come). Concerned, Rudra warns Vicky about the ominous warning, but Vicky dismisses his fears.
One night, Bittu’s girlfriend, Chitti, is abducted by Sarkata. A beggar who witnesses the kidnapping confirms the presence of a ghost. The enigmatic woman from the first Stree Movie, known as “She,” briefly meets with Vicky, revealing Sarkata’s true identity. Vicky, along with Bittu and Rudra, delves into the torn pages of the Chanderi Puran and uncovers the truth: Sarkata is the vengeful spirit of Chandrabhan, a former village head who was a notorious alcoholic and womanizer, harboring a deep hatred for progressive women.
He murdered Stree, when she was a courtesan, beheaded her husband, and burned them alive in front of their little daughter. Stree returned as a spirit, beheaded Chandrabhan and his associates and buried their bodies. After Stree’s departure from Chanderi, Sarkata has resumed targeting progressive women. Recognizing that they need Stree’s help to defeat him, the friends set out to find Jana in Delhi, who had once been possessed by Stree.
Jana, residing with his werewolf cousin Bhaskar, is unexpectedly drawn back to Chanderi under the guise of a stage play. Despite his hesitation, he agrees to help. While searching for Stree at an ancient fort, they are ambushed by Sarkata, who captures Jana and drags him to his lair. Though his physical body cannot pass through the rock wall, Janaβs spirit is taken. Inside Sarkata’s lair, Jana discovers the women who have been kidnapped. Using his spirit’s abilities, Jana manages to escape and rejoin his body. The group barely escapes the fort, with Sarkata hot on their heels.
